Since joining Weight Watchers, Dairy Queen Blizzards have become a weekly reward for us… versus the gluttonous indulgence it used to be.  Alas, the season at some locations has come to a close.

We had a beautiful weekend for the From the Land Folk Art Festival in Green Lake, WI. Plus, we had our annual pumpkin carving rendezvous… sadly without our dear friend Roy (RIP).

This weekend it’s been all about our show in Novi, MI, and eating healthy with our friends Susan and Kent!

Last year when we did the Galena Country Fair in Galena, IL, everyone was talking about how it SNOWED the year before. We have been lucky… two years in a row of sunshine and temps getting into the 70s.

This weekend’s show marks the transition into the fall and Christmas country craft season. It can be hit and miss for regular artists… unless we start putting our stuff on a stick and selling for $10.
